A potent product targeting free radicals, photo-ageing and hyperpigmentation. It is based on Superoxide dismutase, an enzyme found in all living cells that breaks down potentially harmful oxygen molecules in cells, to prevent damages. An enzyme is a substance that speeds up certain chemical reactions in the body. Superoxide dismutase is also effective against wrinkles, for rebuilding tissue and inflammation. Vitamin C and glutathione are strong anti-oxidants reducing pigmentation and increasing collagen levels. To complete this potent blend of anti-oxidants we added sodium pyruvate as a source of energy for the cellular metabolism. Sodium pyruvate stimulates the synthesis of collagen. The concept of anti-ox is the reinforcement of endogenous antioxidant defenses to more effectively protect against oxidative stress.
